Writers may submit only 1 piece of fiction, including traditional short stories, short plays, and short screenplays. If you are submitting flash fiction (fiction <1000 words), you may submit up to 2 along with 1 piece of long fiction. Submissions may not exceed 12 pages total (about 3,500 words double-spaced).
Writers may submit up to 2 pieces of non-fiction as separate files. Submissions may not exceed 12 pages total (about 3,500 words double-spaced).
Writers may submit up to 3 poems as separate files. Submissions may not exceed 3 pages total, single-spaced.
Art and Photography:
Artists may submit up to 2 images of original artwork and a maximum of 5 photographs. Art and photography must be at minimum 300 dpi and be submitted as a .png or .jpg file type.

Any student enrolled at UNT during the Fall 2019 semester can submit to NTR.
